The three days leading up to our departure date made the word 'hectic' seem calm. We left Budapest and flew to DC on Sunday, stayed with Bren & Marc for the night, then drove home to Wilmington on Monday. Tuesday thru Thursday was a blur of last minute haircuts, tippy-toe polishing (Sherry only), dental cleanings, and multiple trips to the post office to send our new best friend, The Flat Rate Box. It is amazing how much 'stuff' you can cram into that small space.
Friday our great friends and housesitters, Ann Charmak & Liz Murray, drove us to the airport and off we went. Wilmington to Philadelphia and then off to Anchorage.
